A READING LIFE
A dreamy, wandering- thoughts piece about the reading life for the Glass Bookshop brand. Printed as an oversize broadsheet for the bookshop’s crowdfunding campaign, I used a range of pencil marks as accents, because who doesn’t underline favourite lines in a favourite book? This one is for my fellow readers.

SOCIAL ENTERPRISE FUND
An editorial illo highlighting funding available to non-profits for unusual projects. My solution was to think about it as seeds that grow money for a positive community. 016

AHS HOUSING INITIATIVE
Avenue Magazine
An article about a new program where doctors dealing with frequent, often homeless visitors to emergency rooms in Edmonton take alternative approaches to those patient’s health care. My solution was to think about housing as medicine.
Rumour has it this series of illustrations is still being used by administrators of the program to explain the concept in educational sessions with staff in hospitals. I’m glad for that!
